Hello Micro Clubbers!
We are going to see Contagion at the Carmike 7 on Wednesday, November 16. The movie starts at 7:20 so plan on meeting there at 7:10. If you need a ride, meet at the biology building at 7:00 and a ride will be provided.
Also we will be taking a tour of ISU's accelerator center on Thursday, November 17. Our trip is scheduled for 4:15, so we can meet in the foyer of the biology building at 4:00 and then travel to the accelerator center. The accelerator center is used by Dr. DeVeaux's laboratory to deliver high doses of radioactivity to a number of microorganisms as they perform a variety of experiments. If you would like to attend this tour, please let us know by contacting Amanda.
